Whale watching

SeasonalSeason: Jun-Nov

From June to November, humpback whales stream past Sodwana on their winter migration between the Antarctic and the warm breeding waters off Mozambique. They pass close inshore, and boat-based whale-watching trips launch in season to offer responsible viewing from the water. On a calm day you may even spot them from the dunes.
